Brief:
Dr. Gonzalez is a Project Engineer with RCS, holds a Doctorate of Philosophy Degree in Civil Engineering, and is an EIT in the State of Florida. Dr. Gonzalez has over five years of experience specializing in water resources engineering, including hydrologic modeling, water quality modeling, water resources management, and watershed modeling and analysis. She has advanced experience in working with mathematical and data driven models. Furthermore, Dr. Gonzalez has developed innovative frameworks to understand the effects of hydrological extreme events on agricultural production systems. She is well versed in the latest modeling software, including HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SQL, Python, R, ERDAS Imagine, QGIS, ArcGIS, and AutoCAD.
Dr. Gonzalez has also worked in the construction industry as an Assistant Project Manager, preparing cost estimates, scheduling, procuring supplies and materials, and monitoring project progress. She is fluent in both English and Spanish, helping to breach the gap in the diverse client market of Central and South Florida.
