Joaquin Cabrera – Civil Engineer

Education:

Civil Engineer degree issued by the UdelaR (Republic´s University) and an MBA from the University of California at Berkeley, Haas School of Business

Brief:

Joaquin Cabrera brings to RCS all his expertise developed and implemented as a civil engineer in CSI Company. Between 2015 and 2017, he served in different roles within CSI, leading initiatives such as the implementation of the business plan process, commercial development and institutional representation before multilateral organizations and national and international clients.

Between 2013 and 2014, as Deputy to the Chief Executive Officer of CSI-CIEMSA, he led the reorganization of the group's activities and various commercial activities, expanding the group's contacts portfolio in Uruguay and abroad.

Prior to joining CSI, he was a commercial planning executive at the International General Management of LAN Airlines in Chile. It is to be highlighted his role in the implementation of the new itinerary planning process working with Mckinsey & Co, his participation in the operational fusion of the LAN and TAM network working with Bain & Co and the general coordination between domestic, regional, international and operations areas.

During the years 2003 to 2009 in CSI, he worked as a project engineer and project manager, participating in more than 20 projects. During 2007, he was project director for CIEMSA in the assembly of the Botnia Cellulose plant in Uruguay.
