Brief:
Dr. Bottcher is a Professional Engineer with over 30 years of experience. Dr. Bottcher specializes in water resources and agricultural engineering with a concentration in the environmental assessment and management of watersheds, agricultural water management, and the hydrologic and chemical transport processes. He has extensive experience in the development of Best Management Practices, the design of water control structures and irrigation systems, and monitoring water quality. Dr. Bottcher is responsible for the creation of the Watershed Assessment Model and has used the software to simulate the impact of water and nutrient management practices implemented throughout watersheds, conduct drainage assessments, evaluate flood control, and design projects related to agriculture water management control. Mr. Bottcher has experience developing projects in several countries around the world including United States, Panama, Haiti, New Zealand, Guyana and South Africa.
