EWRI Hosts Statewide ERP Rule Development Update Discussion
The Environmental & Water Resources Institute will host a luncheon discussion on the FDEP's effort to create one, statewide ERP rule as opposed to the current system in which each of the 5 Water Management Districts have their own ERP rules and regulations.
Speakers will discuss how the DEP plans to merge differences between the current rules, while still accounting for the varying regional physical and natural characteristics or special basin considerations. Speakers at the luncheon will also discuss the criteria of the 10/2 Permit process, which allows projects of less than 10 acres with a proposed impervious area of less than 2 acres to conduct a self-certification permit process.
The luncheon is approved for 1 PDH and will be held on Thursday, November 29th at the Sheraton Downtown Orlando. For more information on registration, please visit our source site at http://www.fla-asce-ecb.org/Application%20Pages/Technical%20Committees/Water%20Resources%20Committee.aspx
