Established in 1995 by Brian Roy, Royal Consulting Services, Inc. (RCS) is an engineering firm dedicated to excellence in agricultural, environmental, and water resources engineering.

RCS prides itself in being a full-service consulting, engineering, and construction management firm, helping public and private clients improve infrastructure and the environment. Our unique approach to client service allows the professionals at RCS to become involved in every step of a project, including conceptualization, permitting, design, cost estimating, construction management, operation, and site certification. This broad-spectrum approach provides for a stimulating work environment, enabling RCS professionals to become personally vested in clients’ needs.

RCS serves Florida, Georgia, and
North Carolina. The RCS main office is
conveniently located near Orlando, Florida, and satellite offices are located in Lee, Okeechobee, and West Palm Beach, Florida as well as in The Triad area of North Carolina.

RCS is a certified Small Business Enterprise (SBE) with Palm Beach County and the City of West Palm Beach as well as being classified as an SBE with the Small Business Administration.

Current Openings

The entry level engineer will work closely with the company senior personnel, including the president to meet the company’s staffing, equipment, and organizational needs. Duties may include overseeing maintenance of office equipment, ordering of office supplies, filing, pricing products from vendors, technical writing associated with proposal preparation, updating the company website, and other clerical tasks.  Applicants should demonstrate confidence, initiative, common sense, loyalty, sound judgment, organizational skills, and have the ability to work effectively with others.  Computer skills are a must, and experience with Microsoft Office (MS Word, MS EXCEL) required.

Duties will include:

  • Engineering design
  • Engineering design calculations
  • Development of construction plans and specifications
  • Support in the development of permit applications (Water Use Permits, Environmental Resource Permits)
  • Preparation of proposals, spreadsheets, and engineering reports
  • Construction oversite and management
  • Conducting site visits and field investigations

Qualifications:

  • Engineer in Training
  • Required proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Self-motivated

Primary Office Locations: Orlando or Okeechobee. Remote work from home acceptable when not required in a primary office. Occasional overnight visits to other office locations or remote project sites may be required. No out of state travel expected or required.

  • Responsible enough to independently complete tasks and assignments

  • 2 + years professional office assistant experience.
