Florida Commissioner of Agriculture, Adam Putnam, kicked off the 2013 Florida Energy Summit in Orlando, Florida yesterday, October 14, 2013. Commissioner Putnam remarks "As the nation's third largest consumer of energy, it is imperative that Florida's energy policy creates an environment that fosters the development of affordable, clean energy sources to meet our state's long term needs."
This year's conference features topics including "The Fifth Fuel: Energy Efficiency and Conservation", "Florida's Energy and Water Nexus: Sustaining a Vital and Precious Resource", and "Manufacturing Energy Products in the Sunshine State."
